Brisbane Alumni Catch Up
Join Swinburne Alumni Brisbane for the final event of the year with the Brisbane Alumni Talk by CEO of CitySmart and Swinburne Master of Entrepreneurship & Innovation alum James Bulinski.
About the talk
Business leaders are embracing sustainability in their practice and seeing the positive effect on the bottom line. The pressure on companies to adopt sustainable practices is in response to the UN Climate Change Summit and the Extinction Rebellion protests. Drawing on his career, James will discuss how the enviro dial has shifted and the forces that are waking up the business sector from its slumber.
About James
James has 25 years experience working across the environmental, sustainability, and climate change sectors. He is currently the CEO of CitySmart, an organisation focused on driving positive environmental, community, and business change with active projects across the climate change, energy, waste and transport sectors. Prior to this, James was the Managing Director of CO2 Australia, a leading environmental services business, with a focus on carbon project development, climate change, land management and environmental consulting.
